The southern Costa Blanca area belongs to the region of Valencia and lies to the south of Alicante International Airport. Alicante can be reached from Sweden in just three to four hours. It is easy and convenient to rent a car at the airport, or you can leave your own car at long-term parking any time of the year. There are also airport buses between Alicante Airport and Torrevieja. Or if you prefer to go by taxi, there are always cars ready and waiting when you land.

Orihuela Costa is the area just south of Torrevieja, consisting of several different areas, such as Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Villa Martin. This area is also home to the relatively new shopping centre Zenia Boulevard, which is the largest of its kind in the province of Alicante. Zenia Boulevard boasts 150 different shops, restaurants and bars, spread out across 16,000 square metres. The shopping centre is open all year round, seven days a week. It is new, fresh and modern, designed to resemble a typical Mediterranean town, with winding streets, squares and fountains.
